This video is amazing. I love the song, the characters, the idea, the execution. I caught it over at Jake Davis’ blog and have watched it a couple times now. Now you watch it. While you’re there, check out the Lykki Li videos as well because they are pretty cool.
Craigslist - Best Ofs
I was surfing the internet pretty hard today, and thanks to a blog called oneplusinfinity, I’ve discovered one of my new favourite things: The Craigslist Best Of’s. It is a collection of the best craigslist ads from across the world, all of which are pretty hilarious. If I worked in an office I have a feeling they would occupy a solid amount of my time. Of the ones I did read, this one that Mr. 1 + ∞ posted originally is probably my favourite as well. Some are rated R so be warned.

You know that Beatles lyric, “all the lonely people, where do they all come from?” Well, apparently Canada. I was just checking out Alexa’s website traffic rankings and took this shocking little screenshot. The top 100 websites in Canada. You see it? The 27th most popular site in Canada. There, just behind Amazon.com but ahead of CNN.com. Pretty crazy.
Anti-terrorism
As the Beijing Games draw closer, the tension is never far from our evening news; in China and around the world. Demonstration haven’t gone unseen, but with images like these of the fighting forces within their country, I think all the athletes can drink their protein shakes in safety knowing that they are protected by a group of highly convicted people.

This is dope, I like the style they shot the video, and it’s funny to hear people’s thoughts on their own style. Convertibles n’ shit.
Tailor in Style: Harsh or Hilarious?
I came across this website a few months back and did a random check up on it last night. The site is about shirts, tailored shirts, how to wear them, and apparently how not to. The blogger rips into an Indian man who hasn’t been up on his blogs lately I guess. The writer gets into three different ways that make your shirt look bad. 1) Don’t use your pockets as storage 2) Avoid physical work 3) Don’t have too many stains on your shirt. I would say most of these are obvious, if your not working on the plains of Africa. The article is harsh in that it’s making fun of this poor fellow who probably only owns one shirt, but at the same time is hilarious. It’s hard to say the authors intentions, but it is worth a read.
Hipsters in Space
CurrentTv killed it with this one, Hipsters in Space. This video is about a group of hipsters lead by Captain Art school and their quest for the coolest most untapped scene, space. The whole thing is so hilariously on point especially the excessive blogging and the robot with the “sniffles”. This wouldn’t have been complete without a Steve Aoki appearance, solidifying him as hipster of the year. I cant decide what is better this or the Hipster Olympics, you be the judge.
Pharrell Williams, Connoisseur
Men.Style.com recently caught up with Pharrell for an interview in his Ice Cream and Billionaire Boys Club store in Soho. Pharrell talks about being a connoisseur and some of his exuberant pieces, such as his iced out G-Shock and purple crocodile Hermes bag.
Tour de France
Le Tour, the most insane race in the world, started up today. To me, pretty much every type of racing is pretty boring, with the tour being the one exception. The guys are freak athletes, the fans are nuts and the crashes are the best. Horrible I know, but it’s true. Hopefully there aren’t any nut jobs like the one in Mexico. Anyways, if you like biking you should at least watch a couple legs, the individual TT’s are the best.
Kaws Interview about I-D Magazine
Here is a cool interview with Kaws about the new issue of I-D magazine that he contributed to. He talks about how the issue came together and the work that he did for it. It is always neat to see how an artist approaches their work and where they take inspiration from, especially with someone like Kaws.
Fuck Clay Bennett
So its official. The Sonics are leaving for OKC next season. I was hoping that the city was going to hold them to the lease and make them stay another year. But, in extremely depressing fashion, once again money talks and they settled. So, the Sonics are officially dead. In honour of their passing here’s a tribute video from the glory days.
p.s. This sets the worst precedent for pro sports ever. Watch out, it could just as easily happen to your favourite team too.
