Obama ‘08
South Dakota and Montana were the last of the primaries which ended earlier tonight. The split results in the two states as well as a number of super-delegate pledges means that Barack Obama will claim the Democratic presidential nomination in Denver come August. It is a monumental win for Obama and America as he becomes the first non-white candidate to lead the ticket for a major party. I’m personally glad he won, but this is really just the beginning. I really hope that he and Clinton have opened enough people’s eyes to the issues and ended apathy so that real change can occur. If McCain is getting sworn in in January, it will be all for nought, so VOTE!
