What Happens When…

…you wear all of the items I blog about at once. Some people might be doing it, some might not, but this is what I’m talking about. Basically every item in this look I’ve mentioned; duck boots, socks, toggle coat, cable knit turtleneck, plaid pants. Even the gloves and glasses are similar to items I’ve posted. With the only exception being tucking the pants into the socks (which I like, I just haven’t mentioned before even though I did it accidentally the other day), this is a really dope look that could easily be rocked on the streets. You can put it together with designers I talk about or with a mix of vintage, Club Monaco, Gap and maybe a couple nice designers. Secret Forts and ACL did a nice job with their head to toe looks, but this is it. Right here in this picture, this is what I’m feeling. Apparently it’s from Hermes? But I couldn’t find it on their website anywhere. It doesn’t really matter. Items by themselves are nice, but they are nothing. It takes an eye, a sense of adventure and good taste. In my personal opinion, this look is IT.

    And that’s why Tumblr is rubbish! This actually isn’t from Hermes, it’s pulled from somewhere and then I couldn’t remember where. I searched around through my history before I posted so I could credit it but could hold back no longer and just threw it up there because it is, as you say, “IT”.

    Ya, I figure each person probably won’t love every item. That’s fair. I would probably change the gloves and there is a missing perfect red toque but for the most part I really like how it’s put together.

    Personally I think the gloves and the duck boots really set that look off!
    I seem to be rocking fingerless gloves every other day now and would love a pair of LL bean boots in my closet.
    Or maybe if J. Crew was to open a location in Van - it might just be the best thing ever.
