Contributing Editor

I don’t know if everybody who reads this site has checked out Contributing Editor before. It’s a pretty good concept. Basically you can do an ill photo shoot, have a bit of text, put the editorial together and (maybe) have it published on the Contributing Editor blogspot. The idea is to avoid any issues with print magazines and have the ease to share your work online. One of my favorite spreads on the website right now is ‘Hail to the Chief’ which was shot by Dan King. The spread features the band, Chief, who are styled pretty well in some nice pieces from Acne, Ralph Lauren, Band of Outsiders and others on the good list. It’s worth browsing the blog and seeing what people are up to and what kind of work is being done.

   I just checked this site out for the first time a few days ago. My favorites right now are Too Tough to Die and So Subversive. (The latter looks very Selby.) I’m loving the art in Holding Out for a Hero too. Right on.
