Essential: Red Plaid Shirt
Or cranberry as Hickey is calling this shirt. I have honestly been having a hard time finding the right red plaid shirt lately. This shirt is vital to many outfits, it goes perfectly with any grey, can work with with a neck tie or without, layers beautifully and is a classic color/pattern. I don’t mean a flannel either, sure flannels are poppin’ right now and for good reason but I think the button down shirt in a fine oxford or smooth cotton is a must have. I have one that is close right now which looks and fits quite well but it’s just not quite as red as I’d like it. Hickey’s version is the closet I’ve seen to what I want and what you should have. My only problem with Hickey’s products is their exterior branding with the yellow leaf, which you might notice no longer exists on this one, otherwise it’s a very good deal on sale for $117 right now.

I know, it’s terrible…too bad you can’t photoshop real like items…
