Canadian Sweater Company

Up in the cold north, we tend to value our knitted goods, whether it be from the renown Cowichan valley or another tradition outpost, there is no doubt some of these pieces are apart of our young Canadian history. The Canadian Sweater Company began producing back in 1977 taking inspiration from the Cowichan valley’s native styles and designs. Since then they have added new styles along with a couple exciting collaborations with brands such as Stussy. We’ve seen a few new renditions on the classic by Wings+Horns and Four Horsemen. Locals and international markets have been more than receptive to the styles which really haven’t changed much over the last couple centuries. These are a couple of my favorite models in the Vintage collection by the Canadian Sweater Company available this fall and probably every fall in the foreseeable future.
