Porter x Willam Gibson @ Self Edge
As Kiya’s describes Buzz Rickson’s and his line William Gibson of military jackets and bombers, you can definitely get the feeling about how serious some people are about their clothing. I had never heard of Buzz Rickson’s or William Gibson, probably because they are only available in Japan and also I have just never dug that deep. There is so much to know out there, a project like this is really refreshing and can put you in perspective. Anyways, Porter, my favorite bag company, has linked up with Buzz and his William Gibson line for a series of bags. They put together a laptop case and a couple smaller pieces with a militant nylon and leather combination. There is also some really nice leather engraving on the bags. Also apart of the package is a US Navy Repo shirt made from Chambray and by Buzz Rickson. This is definitely one of the coolest, smallest collections to release recently and somehow Kiya over at Self Edge has used those beneficial overseas relationships again. All items are now available at Self Edge in really limited numbers.
