Head Porter x Margaret Howell (Again)

I don’t know what it is about this combination. For one it seems like an odd mix of a well established, yet mellow fashion designer, and a more conceptual, interesting luggage company. Yet we keep seeing the two come together to create something quite good. This is the second version of a messenger bag from the Margaret Howell and Porter collections. The use of what appears to be a corduroy material, along with a more technical messenger strap makes for an easy to wear, practical piece. It’s not particularly great, but it is good. I personally preferred the last messenger due to the color use and more contemporary details. It is interesting to see the relationship develop between creatives and how they either seem to find an easy progression of consistent improvement, or, in other cases, they just get tired.
