Sandstorm Kenya

Unfortunately (not really) Sandstorm Kenya isn’t the newest single from Darude. Rather, it’s another amazing semi-secret bag making company. They started out making tents for the top safari camps in East Africa, but have since evolved into just making beautiful high quality bags. Inspired by the Kenyan landscapes and wildlife, the bags come in a variety of different materials ranging from Pelage (fur), to Scottish Tweed, to Camel leather. While they are apparently safari-grade, I think any of them would make a perfect utilitarian city bag. The camel ‘weekender’, and canvas ‘deluxe adventurer’ are standouts in my eyes. While a little more pricey, a Standstorm bag will definitely stand out in a sea of Filson.

Thanks very much for the mention… sorry it’s taken me so long to spot it! Hope your post helps make us less semi-secret!
I’ve just started blogging about how we work and life in Kenya generally, take a look if you get a moment and let me know what you think…
