Redwing Boat Shoes
Redwing still confuses me, they are from the U.S.A, they are made in the U.S.A, but they are far more popular in Asia and also have dope models only found in Asia. The Wahbasha boat shoe collection is named after a small river town where the shoes are probably used. I really like the sand color way from Redwing, they seem to have no outer branding as well which is always a bonus. The quality has to be pretty good, so the only thing wrong with these is that they are made to sell in Asia. Redwing seems to be getting smart to the North American demand within the fashion market, so I think we’ll be seeing a flood of their products in the next year. Redwing is doing it right. very slow and deliberate with very nice, simple product.
brands like Timberland should observe w/ regret of what they could have been.
yet, i agree, I don’t get the boat shoe from them. there is no real reason for them to bring it to market other than chasing dollars. continue down a path like that long enough and you end up like the aforementioned Timberland.
