Sultan
Boots and boat shoes seem to be the name of the game lately. We hit you up with the Journal Standard x Danassa deck shoes a few days ago so now its time for some boots. Perhaps unsurprisingly these come from Japan too. The beautiful pair on the left are the aptly named “Lace Up Boots” from Sultan. They look like the actual boots your grandpa might have worn fighting WWII. Looking like a cross between Red Wings and Wings and Horns they are distressed to perfection. Sultan also make a really nice version of the desert boot (see below) that look handmade and like they could have been part of the Visvim Folk series. To be honest though I can’t find anything on this brand. All I know is they make great boots and I want them. Furthermore, as far as I know they’re only carried by Journal Standard in Japan, a common theme these days.
